Description
Butyl acetate – Butac for short – n-Butyl acetate, is an ester which is flammable and a colorless liquid at room temperature. Butyl acetate can be found in many types of fruit and has a sweet smell. The main process for producing butyl acetate is the esterification of acetic acid with n-butanol.

Examples of applications
